Vac Roll

VAC roll is also called VAC cylinder, mainly used on high-speed paper machine. The main function of VAC cylinder is to make the original upper and lower two-bed felt into one of dry section, and the two-layer layout of the dryer paper in two drying, are openwithout any support, when the cylinders are running. When the paper is wet, the weak strength and easy to break the paper. After the VAC cylinder is used, the paper will always run with felt, paper breaks and paper sickness reduced. In general, paper machines with speed up more than 400 meters will be equipped with VAC cylinders at the front of the drying section. Another advantage of VAC cylinder is easy to handle in the event of a paper break. When paper breaks, the dryer paper of the two-layer layout will fall between the felt and the dryer, sometimes wrapped around the guide roll, damaging the felt and difficult to handle. After the VAC cylinder is arranged, the broke paper is directly dropped to the ground, and can also be directly conveyed to the pulper by the conveyor belt. Therefore, high speed paper machines are generally arranged in a single row of VAC cylinders.
