ANDRITZ Group completes acquisition of Xerium

In June 2018, the Andritz Group, headquartered in Graz, Austria, had a merger agreement to acquire the company headquartered in Youngsville, North Carolina, USA. The transaction was completed in mid-October 2018 after obtaining approval from the relevant antitrust authorities.

The ANDRITZ Group is a leading global industrial group with a wide range of solid/liquid separations, as well as animal feed and biomass pellets for hydropower, pulp and paper, metals, municipal and industrial sectors, and a first-class factory for these industries. , equipment and services. ANDRITZ is a publicly traded company with annual sales of approximately 6 billion euros. The company employs approximately 26,000 people and has more than 250 branches in more than 40 countries around the world.

The development history of ANDRITZ can be traced back to the original establishment in 1852. It has long served successfully in the pulp and paper industry, providing technology, equipment systems and services for the production of pulp and paper, and designing and building factories for global paper customers. .

Xerium's fabric and roller service is a complementary product of ANDRITZ, which complements ANDRITZ's product offering in the paper industry. With 29 branches in 14 countries and 2,850 employees, Zhirui has expanded ANDRITZ's global presence to better serve its customers.

From now on, Zhirui and ANDRITZ Kefuler (who joined the ANDRITZ Group in 2008) are integrated into "ANDRITZ Fabrics and Rolls". In addition to operating the Kefule brand, the division also operates the original brands including Heck Werner, Weavexx, Stonewood, Mount Hope and JJ Plank-Spencer Johnston.

In addition, there has been no change to all customers since the transaction. The contact person will continue to be responsible for the original related work and continue to serve the customer. There is no doubt that all contracts related to the current business will continue to be in force.

All the guide rolls that ANDRITZ entered into China's first board production line (also the only one of the line paper production lines) in 2007 were provided by Maituo. Since then, the tissue machines and pulping machines have been rolled. To achieve long-term strategic partnership, all the rollers have been provided by Maituo for many years
