Reel Drum

The Reel drum is the important part of reel machine. The shell of reel drum and its heads are made by gray iron and rolled carbon steel plate. The shell inner wall is machined and surface grinded,assembled together by bolts and then do balance test; the entire reel drum is supported on the frame by bearings located in both of  the operating side and the transmission side, and its transmission end is connected with driving system of the entire paper machine. In order to cool down, it is necessary to eliminate the static electricity on the paper web. The operating side of the reel is equipped with a gas-water joint, and the cooling water is directly injected into the inner wall of the reel to cool and exchange heat and cold. After that, it is discharged from the gas-water joint. In addition, there is an air inlet, which can be operated by the operating platform to achieve pressurized drainage when the actual needs, so that the cooling effect is better.

（3）journal is made by alloy steel or cast iron.

（1）bearing hous is made by gray cast iron or ball cast iron.

（2）bearing use the famous international bearing brands like SKF, FAG, etc.

（3）shell grooved with air outlet, no covering; roll shell made by rolled carbon steel is sprayed tungstencarbidemixed with Teflon.
