All materials for adjustor of press section are made of stainless steel and is automatically calibrated by pneumatic tyre.

When felt works, the paper will always move more or less to one side of the paper machine, that is deviation. If it is not corrected in time, it may be damaged the edge of the felt. The guide roll mounted on the adjustor is usually called adjusting roll. The sensor of the adjustor is a small baffle contacting with net edges. Once its moves away, the air-exhausting valve opened and closed, air pressure in the pneumatic tyre changed, force the adjusting roll correspondingly displacing to correct the final net. The baffle sensor has wear for the net at a certain degree, most of the current hydraulic or photoelectric sensing elements are used.
